Xiph Media Encoder is a handy software for auto-tagging of FLAC audio files (compression without loss of quality), Vorbis and Speex (codec for compression special of the human voice). The graphical interface is very intuitive and makes the software simple and fast. A useful tool for encoding and decoding of PCM wave files in FLAC and vice versa.
The program automatically updates the version of FLAC files for better use. Xiph Media Encoder also allows the decoding of Speex files in PCM wave and vice versa. This software offers several additional features:
* Extract tags from the filename and its path;
* Build the file names based on their tags;
* Save files in different folders according to their tag;
* Making better use of multicore processors or processors that use SSE2 instructions;
