CommTraffic is a utility for monitoring network traffic that allows you to collect statistics regarding use of the Internet and LAN network connection. When monitoring a LAN segment, CommTraffic shows traffic and network utilization statistics for each computer on the segmentation. This is a customizable program that can be used to display traffic statistics for download and upload within a given time limit and to accurately calculate the cost of consumer connections. You can then set up notifications and audible / visual alarms when approaching the limit is reached.
The program consists of CommTraffic CommTraffic and Service Console. The former must be installed on each computer you want to monitor, and the second connects to the service to monitor traffic statistics, while also allowing remote monitoring. Software allows you to generate reports on traffic volume and consumption played. The settings you can configure the cost of your rate plan to reflect the actual cost of service provided by your ISP (connection time, traffic volume, time of day, and other measures).
