The Apple event ‘Back To The Mac’ has certainly marked a turning point in the world of Apple Mac’s house and picking the ball up to Steve Jobs first unveiled the new Mac OS X Lion, the operating system new generation that will be introduced in the summer of 2011, and later was given great emphasis to the real news of this conference: the Mac App Store. As with its mobile counterpart, the new store dedicated to the famous Apple home computer will offer hundreds of applications created by developers partner of the house of Cupertino, along the lines of what happens with the App Store for iPhone and iPad, which can be performed directly on the computer!

After the presentation of the new Mac OS X Lion Apple CEO has in fact revealed the news that his company will offer in the near future, the Mac App Store, which will be launched within the next 3 months and will provide computer owners with Snow Leopard you can install applications directly on your computer, with a system very similar to the one admired over the years and the recent iPhone iPad tablet.

These ‘apps’ will of course be installed directly on the Mac, on a sort of ‘layer’ superimposed on traditional OS, called LaunchPad, which will host them all the icons as if it were a virtualized version of IOS and will order them according to of the needs and tastes of the user, and the whole course can be invoked by pressing a simple mail icon in the dock in Mac OS.

The Mac App Store, contrary to his ‘twin’ in the mobile version will be a totally disconnected from the iTunes software, which however share the platform to make purchases using the account of the Store. The purpose of this choice is obviously to differentiate the two online stores, saw them together in the same software could lead to unfortunate mistakes, but most importantly it is tied to the new features provided by Apple with the developers, with constant updates on the various reports from Access and part of Mac OS.
